Cassia Fistula

Cassia Fistula
L.
Golden-shower (E); Cana fistula (P); Marianunut (Cu) . The flowers are edible. The pulp of the pods is used to flavor tobacco and as a laxative. Parched leaves are eaten as a mild laxative with other foods. The bark has been used in tanning.
