Sweat pea (E); Churimo (C); Guama (P); Guava (P); Ingua (Cu); Mari (Cu); Tuetajo (Ch) . The pulp around the seeds is eaten; it is sweet and quenches the thirst. Colombians believe the fruits cause colic.
