Arachis Hypogaea
Peanut (E); Cacahuate (C); Mani (P) . The seeds are edible, raw or roasted; seedlings are also edible. Few, if any, peanuts are cultivated along Route 17. They are cultivated on the Azuero Peninsula and around Unguia for food and oil production.
